MALAYAN EDUCATION
The report of the commission appointed in 1938 in connection with higher education in Malaya has been Issued. It states that the commissioners reached the conclusion that the time has not yet arrived for the formation of a university, but recommends a fusion of Raffles College and the King Edward the Seventh Medical College, Singapore, into a university college, and the concentration of engineering teaching in the new technical college at Kauala Lumpur.
