ONE-CLUB MATCH Best cards returned in the one-club match arranged by the Temuka Golf
CHIMNEY FIRE For the second time in the last the services of the Temuka Volunteer Fire Brigade were required when on Saturday evening, the Brigade was called to attend to a chimney fire at a residence in Studholme Street. The outbreak was quickly quelled and there was no damage. PERSONAL Mr L. S. Dobbin, Opunake, is the guest of Mr and Mrs W. H. Staniland, Clandeboye. Mr T. H. Langford, No. 3 Transport Licensing Authority was in Temuka during the week-end.
