OVERCOME BY FUMES
NEARLY A TRAGEDY Bv relegrapn-i-.,«. ■-...vinuor WAIHI, July 11 Ron Skinner (19), narrowly escaped losing his life. He was overcome by gas fumes when taking a bath. He managed to get out of the bath, but collapsed on the floor before reaching the bathroom door. A younger brother, who heard gurgling noises, entered the room, and found his brother unconscious. He dragged him out. The victim was later resuscitated.
