DOMINION—U.S.A.
REGULAR AIR SERVICE | By Telegraph —Press Association AUCKLAND, January 9. On her first southward flight of the regular air service connecting New I Zealand with the United States, the Pan-American Airways Samoan Clipper is expected to leave Honolulu at 5 o’clock to-morrow morning, New Zealand time, for Auckland. It is not expected that mail will be carried, though the Clipper is likely to bring freight to New Zealand. Captain Edwin C. Musick will probably be in command and have with him as first officer Captain C. Sellers, who was until recently on the China run. The schedule provides for the Clipper to reach Auckland about 5 o’clock on Wednesday afternoon unless unfavourable weather in her path causes delay. Present intentions are for the ship I to leave Auckland again with mail and freight for Pago Pago, Honolulu and i the United States before dawn next Saturday. As far as is possible the schedule will be maintained, though it is always subject to alteration should I the weather make it inadvisable to fly.
