DANCE AT SPRINGBROOK
The Springbrook Basketball Club held its opening dance in the school on Friday evening. A Timaru orchestra supplied the music and Mr G. Hoare acted as M.C. The winners of the Monte Carlo were Miss Joan Henry and partner while Miss Jessie Munroe and Mr C. Beck won the lucky spot onestep. Extras were supplied by Misses Muriel and Dorothy Wilkie.
