SUDDEN DEATH

INQUEST ADJOURNED An hour after his admission to Bldwill Street private hospital on Friday afternoon Thomas Shaw, aged 46, a labourer, employed by the Public Works Department at Rangitata, who was stricken by a sudden Illness In the morning, died at 4.30 o'clock. Shaw, who was married with one child, became ill during the morning while at work, and when examined by a doctor, who was summoned, he was ordered to hospital, where he expired shortly afterwards. The Coroner (Mr H. Morgan, S.M.) on Saturday opened the inquest, when evidence of identification was given. The proceedings were then adjourned until to-day.
