PREPARING FOR MR SAVAGE’S VISIT TO AUCKLAND By Telegraph—Pres? Association AUCKLAND, March 6. V”hen the Rt. Hon. M. J. Savage motors to Auckland from the south on Monday afternoon, he will be met at Otahuhu, and escorted to the city by a fleet of motor-cars, containing a large number of supporters of the Labour Government. Accompanying the Minister will be the Hon. R. Semple, Hon. H. T. Armstrong, and Hon. P. C. Webb. The Mayor (Mr E. Davis), will welcome Mr Savage at the Station Hotel in the city. A civic farewell on his leaving for the Coronation visit will be tendered Mr Savage in the Town Hall in the evening.
