HOUSE WRECKED

MYSTERIOUS EXPLOSIONS By Telegiaph—Brest? Association GREYMOUTH, March 7. Four explosions at 8 pan. on Friday at Stillwater alarmed residents who discovered an unoccupied six-roomed dwelling, owned by J. D. Brosnahan, of Wellington, near the main road, completely wrecked. Apparently two charges of gelignite, one at the rear and another in the front fireplace, did the main damage. Some debris was blown across the road. The tenant vacated the house a week previously and another tenant was to have entered shortly. The site originally was a road reserve and the subject of litigation a couple of years ago. The affair remains a mystery.
