Ginger Foran, of Liverpool, knocked out Johnny McGrory, British and Empire feather-weight champion, in the seventh round of a twelve-round bout at Liverpool. McGrory was sent to hospital with a fractured jaw. BAER SAILS FOR ENGLAND United Press Association—By Electric Telegraph—Copyright NE WYORK, March 4. Max Baer, the boxer, and BrigadierGeneral A. C. Critchley, .the London promoter, .have sailed for England. Baer had been set down to meet Pastor at Madison Square Garden on March 19, but after a dispute with the Athletic Commission, he announce! that he would not fulfil the engagement. Madison Square Garden has filed a suit for 50,000 dollars against Baer and his manager and General Critchley, who has arranged for Baer to meet the winner of the Foord-Farr bout at London in May. CHARGE AGAINST BRADDOCK EFFORT TO FORCE MATCH WITH SCHMELING United Press Association—By Electric Telegraph—Copyright (Received March 5. 5.5 p.m.) NEW YORK, March 5. The Madison Square Garden authorities announced that they will charge James Braddock, world heavyweight champion, with an anticipatory breach of his contract and they will seek a Federal Court injunction to force him to meet Max Schmeling on June 3. Because of the impending suit Schmeling has postponed his exhibition tour.
