President Roosevelt’s 55th birthday was celebrated by 6000 balls and parties throughout the nation, there being 5,000,000 participants. The proceeds will go to the Warm Springs Foundation. In a radio address, the President said the contributions would hasten the day when infantile paralysis would be brought under control and proper aid rendered to all.
