LOAN FOR FRANCE
FINANCED BY LONDON BANKERS United Press Association—By Electric Telegraph—Copyright (Received January 31, 6.30 p.m.) LONDON, January 30 A syndicate of London bankers is lending the French railways £40,000,000 at 34 per cent., repayable in ten months, for the purpose of assisting the French Treasury to finance railway deficits and to be used in strengthening the French Exchange Stabilisation Fund.
