CARGO ON FIRE
STEAMER INVERBANK IN DANGER United Press Association—By Electric Telegraph—Copyright (Received January 31, 7.20 p.m.) LOS ANGELES, January 30. The coastguard service reports that the steamer Inverbank is in distress and fighting fire in the cargo approximately 1300 miles due south of Hawaii, from where a coastguard cutter is being despatched to lend aid.
