PRIMARY SCHOOL

TEACHERS FAREWELLED Four teachers from* the Waimate Primary School, Misses Jones and Macdonald and Messrs Koller and Martin, who are leaving on transfer to other schools, were farewelled *iy the staff and pupils and presentations were made. The acting-headmaster, Mr C. D. Francis, expressed the regret of the staff in having to say farewell to Miss Jones and Miss Macdonald, and wished them every success in Dunedin. Mr Francis also thanked Mr Koller and Mr Martin, two temporary teachers, for the interest they had shown in t’-e work of the school. The teachers later received gifts from their classes.
