AMATEUR THIEVES
ACTIVITY IN CHRISTCHURCH By Telemapb-Press Association CHRISTCHURCH, Nov. 17. A gang of amateur thieves is busy in Christchurch. This morning a number of City premises were entered in clumsy fashion, but little was gained. The main damage was to shop doors and equipment. So far the following premises are known to have been entered:—Quick Lunch Kitchen; W. W. McKinney. Ltd., (opticians, Gloucester Street); A. G. Sherwood and Co. (vulcanisers, Cashel Street); Boomerang Petrol Station (owned by P. C. Webb. M.P., Woreest-er Street).
