’PLANES CRASH.

TWO AUSTRALIAN PILOTS KILLED. United Press Association —Bv ElectricTelegraph —Uopyrleh* (Received June 24, 6.30 p.m.) ADELAIDE, June 24. Flying near Parafleld Aerodrome yesterday, two aeroplanes collided at 200 ft and the pilots Laurence Newman (27) and Blair Cowan (19) were killed. When the machines touched, one of the wings of Cowan’s plane was ripped off. The machine nose-dived. Newman attempted to make a flat landing, but was too near the ground, and his machine nose-dived to the earth. The planes fell a quarter of a mile apart, a mass of wreckage. Newman was crushed. He had been married only three weeks.
