The Reichsbank announces that it will issue only such foreign currency as is received daily, giving special attention to allotments of those intending to pay for the imports of raw materials. This adversely affects British dealings with Germany, since all clearance payments abroad must be approved by the Reichsbank. Interest in Attitude of Dominions. Government circles attach importance to a report from Ottawa that Mr Bennett is not likely to accept the proposal to establish a Anglo-German clearing office.
