Lape, in a Lockhead-Orion, the Italian, Francis Lombardi, and Frenchman, Captain Challe, have lodged entries for the centenary air race. There will be a large field, as several are not entering until the last few days, in order to preserve the secret make of their machines. ANOTHER AMERICAN ENTRY. 1 PLANS OF WELL-KNOWN RECORD HOLDER. Mrs Louise Thaden. the holder of several world’s aviation records for women, announced that she will enter the Macßobertson race with an aeroplane of special design. She will be accompanied by her husband. Mr Herbert Thaden, as co-pilot.
