PUBLIC SITTINGS ENDED. By Telegraph—Press Association WELLINGTON, April 25. The Parliamentary Monetary Committee, which has been taking evidence on monetary matters for some time past, concluded its public sittings on Tuesday afternoon with submissions from Mr W. D. Lysnar, of Gisborne. Mr Lysnar made suggestions for the metter marketing of produce on the Home market, contending thr£ if the Meat Board were doing its duty the prices of meat on the English market could be cut down by 50 per cent and the return to the New Zealand producers could be increased by 100 per cent. The Committee will consider all the submissions made to it and will report to the Government in due course.
