DEATH IN DYNAMITE EXPLOaiuN United Press Association—By Electric Telegraph—Copyright PERTH, December 7. Two miners, Kenneth McLaren (24) and Albert Cole (26), was asphyxiated by dynamiate fumes in the Phoenix mines at Norsemen. After a charge was fired, Cole descended, and when no signal was received, McLaren volunteered to investigate. He found Cole in a state of collapse, but before he could rescue him he himself was overcome. The two were brought to the surface, but died soon after.
