Colonel and Mrs Lindbergh passed Fernando la Moronha at 1 p.m. A later New York message states that the Lindberghs landed at Natal (Brazil), 19 hours 55 minutes after the take off. Colonel and Mrs Lindbergh covered 1875 miles in 16 hours (correct time).

UNEVENTFUL CROSSING OF OCEAN. United Press Association —Ey tSlectrlc Telecraph—Copyright (Received December 7, 5.5 p.m.) NATAL, December 6. Colonel and Mrs Lindbergh were accorded a rousing reception as they landed on the harbour this afternoon, after a 1870 miles flight from Bathurst In sixteen hours, at an average speed of 118 miles an hour. The city declared a half holiday, and crowds swarmed the banks of the Potengy river, where it sweeps into the ocean, and watched the landing Colonel Lindbergh revealed that he and his wife exchanged positions at the controls and radio. He did most of the piloting. They were in constant communication with land. The crossing was uneventful. Officials here expected slightly better time, but considered the flight satisfactory, considering the winds. Colonel and Mrs Lindbergh are the guests of the American Consul. They have not announced their next destination.
