WOMEN’S INSTITUTES
WILLOIVBRIDCE. The monthly meeting of the Willowbridge Women's Institute, held in the hall on Tuesday, took the form of a children's party. Young and old joined in some 'of the games. The roll call, “The silliest thing I ever did,” caused a lot of amusement. Competitions resulted —Best bloom, Miss E. Curtis 1. Mrs Smith 2, Mrs Annlng 3, Miss McGowan- v.h.c. Christmas gift costing less than 1/6, Miss E. Curtis 1, Mrs Forsyth 2, Mrs Curtis 3. Worked table centre, Miss E. Curtis 1, Miss Lindsay 2. Worked tray cloth, Miss E. Curtis 1, Miss E. Colville 2, Miss P. Lindsay 3.
A dainty afternoon tea served by the members was enjoyed by all, especially the children.
