THE WEATHER Contrary to expectations, there was not the heavy rainfall expected over the week-end. Saturday dawned fine and gave no indication of the rough conditions to follow. Rain set in late at night, and continued until early morning, accompanied by very boisterous weather. The change of weather brought most beneficial rain to the pastures. The 33 points recorded at the school up till Sunday morning were increased to 46 owing to intermittent showers during Sunday night.
