* APPLE CREAM. * X t | Peel 31b of apples, cut up and *s. ►> stew with 51b sugar. In a separ- * * ate pan melt 2 ozs of butter, stir * * in smoothly 4 ozs flour, then * * add 5 pint of milk, a pinch of * * salt and a few drops of vanilla. T % Let this boil. When cool add the X * yolks of 4 eggs and finally the 4* * whites stiffly beaten.
