TO-DAY’S RECIPE
OX TAIL. Cut the ox tail into joints. Cut up a small onion, carrot, apple, and celery. Put all into saucepan, cover with water or stock and season. Simmer for three hours, then let stand' all night. Skin off the fat and cook till tender. Thicken and serve very hot.
