AUCKLAND BOARD CURTAILING. By Telegraph— Press Association AUCKLAND. January 26. The Mt. Roskill Road Board, which has been one of the largest employers of relief labour in Auckland, has decided that it cannot carry on on the same scale, and that alter this month it w’ill not give relief work to any but residents and ratepayers. Or. the average it has been employing 900 men. in future there will be work for 200 only.
