WORSHIPPERS SHOT DEAD. United Press Association —By Electric Telegraph—Copyright (Received August 5, 7.20 p.m.) WARSAW, August 5. It is reported from Vilna (Ogpu), that a detachment raided the Catholic Church in a villain near the Russian frontier, and shot dead seven, and Wounded fourteen worshippers. They arrested 145. The leader of the detachment stated that he was informed that the meeting was one which counter-revolution-aries were holding in the church. The troops got out of control when refused admission. The shooting caused a panic among the Catholic population.
