FRENCH NAVY.
PROPOSED NEW SHIPS. United Press Association—By Electric Telegraph—Copyright (Received March 22, 5.5 p.m.) PARIS, March 21. M. Dummont, Minister of Marine, presented the Naval Construction Bill, previously postponed owing to the An-glo-French negotiations. The Bill provides for the laying down of forty-five thousand tonnage, including a 23,000-ton cruiser, mounting 11.9 inch guns, two well-protected units of 700 and 500 tons, with five-inch guns, also a scout flotilla leader.
