Results of the England v. New Zealand test were:— First round—Barton (England) 1, W. Kilmister 2; time, lmin. 20 2-ssec. Second round.—A. Mattson 1, F. Bond (England), 2; time, lmin. 21 2-ssec. Third round.—N. Evans (England) 1, C. Tonks 2; time, lmin. 23sec. Fourth round. —Kilmister 1, Bond 2; time, lmin. 22 2-ssec. Fifth round —Mattson 1, Evans 2; time, lmin. 20 2-ssec. Sixth round—Burton 1, G. Greenwood (England) 2; time, lmin. 20sec. Seventh round —Kilmister 1, Evans 2; time, lmin. 23sec. Eighth round. —Kilmister 1, Bond 2; Time, lmin. 23 2-ssec. Ninth round. —Burton 1, Mattson 2; time, lmin. 21sec. Result. —England 30 points, New Zealand 24.
