UNUSUAL PERFORMANCE.
( Whatever doubt there may have f been in the public mind that the English car was not yet entirely suitable for New Zealand roads was effectively dispelled—at least as far as Rover cars are concerned—by the news that a Rover Ten Saloon, standard in every way, had beaten the "Limited” from Wellington to Auckland; and now there is the further announcement that a Rover 20 h.p. Meteor climbed the North Side of the Paekakariki Hill "on top.” But these are not the only signs that the British Manufacturer is keeping New Zealand well in mind. The Rover Company has now actually established a factory depot in Wellington, maintaining a complete stock of parts etc., and extensive equipment to ensure immediate and perfect service to Rover owners through dealers all over the Dominion. The question of price, also, has received close attention—with the result that 1931 Rover mpdels are available at figures which show the most extraordinary value. Rover dealers will be found in all imI portant centres
