SPEED RECORDS.

KAYE DON’S AMAZING MACHINE. (British Official Wireless.) RUGBY, February 22. Kaye Don’s 4000 horse-power car, the Silver Bullet, left to-day the experimental shops of the Sunbeam Works at Wolverhampton, where she was constructed with the greatest secrecy. Kaye Don expressed the greatest confidence that at Daytona, Florida, he will beat the world’s land speed record of 231 miles an hour, held by Sir Henry Segrave. He describes the car as the greatest engineering feat ever put on wheels. He hopes to make his attempt between March 15 and 21. The car is being taken by road to Southampton dfiring the week-end, and will be transferred to the top deck of the Berengaria for the passage across the Atlantic.
