FIRE EPIDEMIC.

MELBOURNE WAREHOUSE GUTTED. (United Press Association—By Electrie Telegraph—Copyright.) Received July 30, 1.25 a.m. # MELBOURNE, July 29. A large fire occurred in Flinders Lane, to-night, at Collins and Son’s, general merchants, whose five-storey warehouse was partially gutted. The damage to stock is estimated at £40,000. The origin is unknown.
