Since Friday afternoon last, the’ police, and a big search party have been searching, for a youth named R. Arthur, aged 18, a Flock House/ trainee, who disappeared from the homestead of Mr R. Early in the afternoon the horse he had been riding returned to the house, but the non-appearance of /' Arthur led to a search party going out. The search continued overnight, and yesterday morning an overcoat belonging to the boy was found floating in the river. One sleeve of the coat had been pulled in,giving the impression that the coat" had been taken, or pulled off in a' hurry. The search is still being continued, but no trace of the missing youth' has been found, and fears ar© ©x-' pressed lor his safety.
