FORD LIBEL CASE.

JEWRY BECOMING THE ISSUE. By Cablo—Press Association—Copyrieht. Australian and N.Z. Cabla Association. NEW YORK, March 15. Despite all protestations to the contrary, it is now becoming evident that both sides of the Ford case are beginning to admit- that • Jewry has something to do with the case. The selection of a jury for hearing Sapiro’s suit occupied the attention of the judge and attorneys throughout the day, with questioning of the prospective talesman, showing that even tile defence, which firmly maintained that Jewry is not an issue, nevertheless took cognisance of the difference between a Jew and a Gentile as jury material. Similarly man who testified that he once joined Kukuk'an “more out of curiosity than anything else” was subjected to close questioning by Sapiro’s counsel.
