AVASHOUT ON MIDLAND LINE.

The washout on the runway, five miles on the Greymouth side of Moan a will necessitate passengers transferring from trains and walking for a short distance. The washout is 30 feet by 15 feet. The express is expected to be aii hour behind the schedule time.
