TEMUKA STOCK SALE The fortnightly stock sale was held at the 'lemuka Kaleyards on Tuesday. The. yarding of Tat sliedp was small. Ewes, mostly shorn, sold at an advance of 2s tp 3s ofi last sale. There were only two small pens of aged ewes and lambs, which sold at late rates. There was a medium .yarding of pigs, _ which realised about 5s below the prices, of ldst sale. There was a heavy yarding of cattle, and fats sold at late rates. Store cattle, mostiy' interior sorts, sold at low prices, and inferior dairy cows were hard to quit - . However there was good inquiry lor young good conditioned cows. The folfdwing prices were realised: — ■ i Fat ewes (shorn) 29s t 0.365; wethers in wool 48s to 61s; ewes and lambs 18s to 24s 3d. Pigs.—iMcorierS (light) and porkers 35s to 60s; sow in pig .£'4 IDs; weaners 8s to 20s; small stores 20s to 255. Cattle—Fat cows £3 76 6d to £6 2s fld; steers £6 tOs to £9 2s 6d; 2-year steers and heifers £3 to £4.

There was a large entry of bulls oi inferior sorts, and they realised from £1 10s to £3 10s; 2-year Shorthorn bull £7; pedigree Jersey £ls 15s.
