Mr F. L. Wooles’s Forecast. Moderate easterly to southerly winds: fair to cold weather prevailing in the meantime, but becoming unsettled shortly. Dominion Meteorologist. Present indications are for variable winds, moderate to strong easterlies prevailing, and backing to northerlies northward of Hokitika and Lyttelton, northerlies elsewhere. Dull, misty weather, with rain probable in northernmost districts; increasing haze and cloudiness for a change following elsewhere. The barometer has a falling tendency.
