WELLINGTON, Oct. 7. The following are the results of the fourth round of the New Zealand ladies’ golf championship, played today in fine, bracing weather: Mrs Guy Williams (Masterton) beat Mrs McCarthy (St. Clair), 3 up and 1 to play.

Miss Snodgrass (Westport) heat Miss Brandon (Wellington), 2 and 1. Mrs Orbell (North Otago) heat Mrs Spiers (Waiwotu), 2 and 1. Miss Wright (Timaru) heat Miss Gam brill (Miramar), 2 and 1. Miss Build ('1 : rnaru) beat Mrs Wilson (Westport), at. the 19ih hole. .Miss Bell (Wellington ) beat Miss Anderson (Christchurch), 4 and 2. Mrs Murphy (Hutt) beat Miss E. Brown (Napier) at the 21st hole. Miss M. Payton (Auckland.) beat Miss S. Payton (Auckland), 4 and 3.

Miss lli'lmoro von the first-division of the bogey handicap, 3 up; aud Mrs Webster the second division, 3 down. For the Coronation Medal, Miss Snodgrass S3 —7 —7 ti, tied with Mrs Webster, 9 4—l S—7 0. Mrs Guy Williams won the prize for the best straight-out score with 82.
