o ■ A TJSEFXTL INSTITUTION, The Tenruka Technical motor engineering class has made an excellent start, and is proving highly interesting as well as useiul. The instructor (Mr J. Jamioson) is well qualified and teaches in a manner tli.t makes his points clear to iall. He deals- also with vulcanising, and shows how t 0 test the various commercial oils. Work of a, practical nature is carried on, as well as instruction in drawing, etc. Ladies are invited to attend, as they have done in previous classes. There has been inquiry for an ambulance class, and some have ilready enrolled, but more are needed to form a class. The Wednesday evening carpentry class is making splendid progress. This is a. valuable class, because there is a great demand - for cabinet makers and carpenters. The daily farming students have very interesting studies, and farmers should take advantage of the privilege of attending the lectures.
