LONDON, July 12.

Twenty thousand Orangemen participated in an imposing parade in Belfast. Heavy rain fell. Good order prevails. The military erected entanglements on the main roads around Belfast and examined all cars entering the city.

LONDON, July 12. The Orange celebrations passed off quietly.

Sir Edward Carson, addressing an open-ail- gathering at Belfast, said: "If the Government is unable to protect us from the Sinn Fein, wo will protect ourselves, and reorganise the Ulster volunteers." He declared: "I would rather die in prison than submit to the Sinn Fein."
