NEW YORK, July 13A minority of the shareholders of the New York-New Haven-Hartford railway is suing William Rockefeller, J. P. "Morgan, Lewis Ledyard and other directors claiming £25,000,000 on the ground of mismanagement of railway affairs. The Interstate Commerce Commission recently examined the Company's affairs and reported that tho directors had. been criminally negligent, had violated the law by frequently purchasing rolling stock at a price three times exceeding its value, by ficticious stock sales, the expenditure of huge sums for the purpose of influencing public opinons through the newspapers, and by bribery and illicit political activity, including bribery of legislators by a profligate use of free passes. Tho commission finds evidence of corruption on a wholesale scale.
