__ WOUNDS NOT CRITICAL. (Per, Press Association.) DUNEDIN, March 22. George Havelcck Green, who was arrested at Auckland about three weeks ago on a charge of disobeying an order lor the maintenance of his wife and children, and was brought to Dunedin, went dewn ih's afternoon to Sawyer's Bay, where his wife is engaged as housekeeper to Mr Perry, carrier. He called ■at the house about 3.30 and apparently fired two or three shots at her, all of which took effect about the neck or shoulder. Green then walked to Port .'Chalmers, where he was arrested ny Constable O'Shea about 4 p.m. Mrs Green was attended by Dr Borrie, of Port Chalmers, but from what little can be gathered at present it does not appear that her wounds are critical.
