pAtjl dufault. . one more opportunity. Lovers .of music who d:'d not hear Paul Dufault at his first concert here will be pleased to learn that the great tenor is to give one farewell'concert at the Theatre Royal on Friday, April 3rd. Mr Dufault scored a tremendous success at his previous, appearance here. None of those who heard him will ever' forget Ins noble interpretation -of "Invictus." - As a singer of love songs Paul Dufault is absolutely unapproached, yet there is no lack, of virility in his manner, and. there .*'! always' a j>oetic charm' in his outbursts of lover's adoration; no maiden listeniug to him could doubt his sincerity. The programme for this farewell concert will be a complete change from that given here before. 'This is rendered possible by the fact that Mr Dufault possesses an enormous repertoire. The assisting artists, as before, will be Miss Pauline Bindley. soprano, Ernest Toy, violinist, and Harold "Whittle, pianist. "THE GRAFTERS." TO-MORROW EVENING. The words of a favourite Australian poet, "Laugh, and the world laughs, with you," arc specially true as applied to burlesque production, and a case in point is furnished by "The Grafters," as played by Mr William Anderson's specially imported American musical burlesque company. Seldom has a piece been seen on the Australasian stage in which the fun waxes so furious, and is maintained so consistently throughout. Each ber of the company is a star in his oi- her own particular orbit. - "While the three tramps who seek' to become millionaires by a stroke of cunning are on the stage lender than anyone else—■ Mr Carlton Chase, as "Will Cheatham, and Mr Paul Stanhope as Harry Hipp, his friend, play 'their respective roles with the greatest success —another who contributes very largely to the humour of the piece is Mr Harry Burgess, as the village constable. Mr Burgess has carefully studied his part, with the result that he is able to give a highly amusing presentment of the vain and eccentric officer of the law. "The Grafters" is interpreted by a full cast of high-class artists. The rvsic throughout is. bright and tunaful, and the ballets avtistic and effective, while a special feature is a tableaux representing the Cono-ress if Nations in cnvniTtion with +be Snri "FranciVco Exhibition of 191:".- The box nlan for "The Grafters" is now on view at The Dresden.
