A* tlle Magistrate's Court to-day, William Jack, Alfred Prior, and William Newton were charged with committing a robbery at Lloyd's jewellery establishment on September 23rd. i good deal of evidence was taken. Prior pleaded guilty, Jack and Newton not , guilty. Pnor was ordered to come up tor sentence on November 12th. and Jack and Newton were committed for trial at the same time.
