The assessors at Alipur found twentyfive accused, including Ara'bindo Ghose, not guilty; his brother. Baron, and seven others guilty. Judge Beachcrof t, who was not bound by the assessors' opinion, delivers judgment in a week.
The Bengali excitement is increasing. Great precautions are being taken toprevent rescues.
During the 120 sittings of the Court there were 200 Crown exlfibits, including bombs, detonators and chemicals. No witnesses were called for the defence. The Crown "Prosecutor's address covered 13 days, and showed that the prisoners had prepared maps and plans of the places they meant to attack, and bolstered up a propaganda among youths by a substratum of religion.
