Four men, including a petty officer, possessing a burglar's outfit, have been remanded on a charge of theft from the warship Indomitable of £2500 in notes and gold, while the ship was anchored at Sheerness. PERSIAN REVOLUTION.
CONSTANTINOPLE. April 14. A small force of Russian Cossacks have been sent to Meshed, the principal city of north-eastern Persia, to protect foreigners.
