HASTINGS, Feb. 27. i Thje attendance at the (factoourse 'last night, when the final test selection was played, exceeded that at the I first test, the gates respectively being '£ll2 and £lls. The final test selections were the bands' own choice, and the judge commended the work done. The grand aggregates are as follows: _ A grade.—Wanganui, 416' points, first prize £IOO, and 25 silver and gold medals, and the Besson shield. Newton-, 391 1-5 points, second, £45. Palmerston, 372 1-5 points, third £2O. ' B grade.—Petons, 36:4 1-5 points, first prize £3O, and Boosey shield. Bastings, 348 3-5 (points, seLond prize £lO. • Gisborne, 345 points, third prise, £5.
