COURT OF APPEAL.
Per- Press Association. WELLINGTON, July 3. The Court of Appeal heard the case of Rex v. Stanley to-day. It is a Crown case reserved by the' Chief Justice at <he last criminal .sessions' at. Napier for consideration of the Court of Appeal. The point is whether an adopted child comes under the law of incest.- .Decision was leserved, -and the-Court adjourned to Monday, when the 'case of the Minister of Mines v. Hislop will be taken... The case Waimate ■: County Council v. McLean is to follow, and after that Reid v. the New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Company. The last-named case is likely to last some days. The licensing cases will not he taken till this case is concluded.
