ASHBURTON POULTRY SHOW.

Per Press Association. ASHBURTON, July 3. The annual; show of the Poultry Society opened to-day. The entries were slightly less than last year, but the exhibits were a superior lot. The principal prizetakers were as follows :—-Game classes : Bilteliff and McGilL S. Mclntyre, R. T. Clarke. Minorcaa': A.: Henry, Plymouth Bocks : F. J. Luridon and G. M. Watson. Dorkings and Cochins: R. T. Clark. Wyandottes: F. C. Hack (who secured the Society's trophy for best golden cockerel), R. T. Clark, and G. H. Blair. Leghorns: 1 C. Lucas (trophy lor best white cockerel), W. H. and R. T. Clark.
