It is believed that the unionists have rejected the delegate board's resolution, and that each lodge will settle its own difficulty. During the debate on the question the officers were accused of betraying the miners m the recent action, also of gross bungling m their management of the affairs of the Miners' Association. The Hetton miners were also condemned for hasty action m accepting the terms of the management. Within the next few days two companies, each working under the same conditions as the Hetton colliery, will give notice of the intention to reduce 1 the price for hewing to a similar level as that now paid m the Hetton mines.
