On' the motion of Mr Robinson, it was resolved that the Corrupt Practices Prevention Act, 1880 should be so amended that Members of the Council Bheuld be disqualified, m the same caso as the Members of the House. SECOND EBADINO. Tbe Christchurch Cathedral 3quare Bill was read a second time. TBIBD BBADINGS. The Murihinui Native Reserves Grants Bill, the Destitute Persons Act Amendment Bill, the New River Harbor Endowment Bill and the Massey Frauds Indemnity Bill wero read a third time. BILL PASSED.
